finally done with this colleg semester!!!! gonna start lookin at my truck again .. and gonna see if i can do the tranny stuff by this weekend.
any advise to make this any easier even though it sounds really easy already haha

Wow, Im looking at trying the same swap as well. I've been in touch with Atkins, RB, Rotary Revolution, and several other people. I've even seen video of Itos truck WOW is all I can say about that. Ito seems to be the one most knowledgeable and willing to give info.

rx tranny and b2000 tranny?
my dad ( mada parts guy for ever) and i were argueing about which tranny to use the trucks or the 7.....
hes tolsd me that hes sold tons of truck trannies all the time cause they are crap and always break and that the rx7 trannies are near bullet proof anf that it wouldnt be that hard to make it fit
to Judge Ito or who ever....
have you ever used the rx7 tranny before? if so, how difficult was the install... still need to used the gslse oil pan? ect.........
and have you ever had problems with the truck trannies.... if so what were they......... blah blha blha....
i still want to do the truck tranny but my dad sure is bitching alot... and hes part investor with me and will also be helping me with the work on it

Wow, I watched that Ito video, it is pretty wild. I know Ito mentioned that making it N/A isn't that easy - is the turbo swap easier?
I'm not that far from Jersey, I've already got a reasonable '88 B2200 SE-5 Cab Plus (a lot of the inside of the bed is rusted out but it's nothing structural, hell, I could rip off the bed and replace it with a flatbed or something), I'm curious as to whether Ito would be willing sometime in the future to do this kind of swap for me and what it would cost, with various engine options.
Of course, I'd also need to look into suspension and especially brake mods, and I'm not sure what's out there these days.
