Rotary Skycar

http://www.moller.com/skycar/

Anyone else see the news that they are coming out with a prototype hovering car with a rotary engine? I saw it in the news paper today, I guess NASA has plans for it in the future as sort of a hover-taxi. On the tech page it talks about the engine and how it is derived from the Wankel... imagine that...

I saw this exact page a year ago. I wonder if they will ever update it, or produce the vehicle. I wish them success because I think it really would be something to see these things produced.

The fact that they tried to sell the only working prototype on e bay and it didn't meet its target kinda destroys all hope doesn't it...Are Moller engines even for sale yet? And the fact we will never be allowed to use "skycars" really pisses me off...Pilots licence needed and No fly zones sorta make it difficult to get to work on time...
