Rotary powered Datsun 510 wagon

So I’m new to this site and I have a lot of questions about things but let me start of basic I have a 1972 datsun 510 wagon and a 1991 rx7. Which I want to put the rotary in the datsun and the rx7s suspension also in the datsun. So far I’ve taken out trans and engine is about ready to come out but I’m not to sure on the transmission and the whole situation with going carbed or keeping fuel injection. Worst part is I can’t find anything on rotary conversions in a datsun 510 I’ve seen it but I haven’t seen a thread or videos on the full conversion. Any info can help

Welcome! That swap has been done before many times. Rotary Works sells a swap kit. Why do you want to swap the Rx7 suspension into the 510????? They many suspension upgrade for the Datsun product (510). Do some research you will find what you're looking for.

The Datsun 510 wagon is stick axle on leaf springs for better safety/utility while hauling heavy loads not semi-trailing arm with coil springs like the sedan 510.

Still, I agree the FC rear suspension is not one you would want to put in any car. Miata or RX-8 suspension would be better and easier (all suspension and components mount to the subframes unlike FC).

I get your guys view point and the reason I want to got full rx7 suspension swap to it’s because 1 I’m on a budget and 2 I already have the whole rx7 also fabbing some new crossbember or arms should be a big deal I have access to a welder metal and plasma cutter. Lastly u guys got any tips about wire harnesses for a stand alone 13b or should I just use the stock harness and ecu
