Atkins Rotary sell the one rotor kit. They also built one for Tim Allen for the "Home Improvement show"

I want one! I should take one of my spare engines and build one of those single rotor engines. Put it in a go cart or something. So many possibilites for it, especially with turbo.....

yes,

Sachs AG. They also made a chainsaw and a snowmobile engine. I have the snowmobile engine but I havent got around to making it run yet. It was originally 23hp, I figure I can get 30 pretty easy, should make a good go-kart or minibike engine.

I thought it would be cheaper to use a real 13B 2 rotor engine. How much shorter is a single rotor engine...about 4"? And what about vibrations and imbalance of the rotating assembly? Won't a single rotor wear the bearings out faster?

What type of transmission is he using?
