Looks like a pretty good project. I love how they are so small and really pretty light. We have so few left here in the US. the Aus. guys have quite a few and most are all really done show cars, I would like to see a couple nice ones built up with heavy ported NA engines in them. Keep the pics coming.

I own a '71 1200, does that count? It's still running on the original engine which amazes me. Anyway, I've been looking for R100s for the past 6-7 years but the 1200 was the best I could find within 500 miles of here.

Yes, parts are a pain to find. I have had an ad up on a website for about 2 weeks now looking for some parts, and have had only 1 response so far. I still need to call them back about it.

Here are some pics:

Yahoo Photos of 1200

Sorry they don't seem to allow remote linking, so this is the only way I could do it.

Mike

PS- Do you have any spare parts?

This is basically what I'm looking for right now:

- drivers side window regulator
- gas cap keylock cylinder & key
- licence plate light metal cover piece
- straight front bumper
- stock rear view mirrors

Everything should be the same for R100 except for the front bumpers. I should probably add front valence to that list but I think mine could be straightened fairly easy.

I have no idea, but it doesn't look like it could go through on the other side.

Are you sure is a R100 then?
I have seen people over in AU and NZ dress up there 1200 to look just like a R100. Or is it the 1300? =|
