quick ignition question
Hey guys i've decided that im going to run a haltech e8 ecu. Im a big fan of msd and i wanted to know what you guys thought of it for rotary applications as i've been using it on piston motors for years.
But i think im a little confused on things, if i am not mistaken the e8 will control ignition timing as well as all its other features correct?
If i am mistaken in my above thinking then i was considering going with the msd dis-2 programable ignition to control ignition timing. But i dont think that is neccasary i think it would just be adding pointless redundancies. Also what do you guys think of thier coils as i was considering once i get my motor replacing the stock coils with the Blaster DIS race coils or just the regular blaster coils. Ignitions are very confusing to me.
I could be completely off base with all this, but if it is the case that i can run the e8 ecu without needing to get new ignition box that would be cool but im kinda confused. I hope i made enough sense so that someone understands and can give me a straight answer.
