Putting an LSD into an Rx2

So...since I've never had to pull a pumpkin, how hard is this swap?

I've got the early, threaded pinion flange, GSL LSD ready to pop in...is it something I can easily do in an afternoon or does this take time. Can I just pull the axles out enough to pull the diff out and plop the LSD in?

Who's got the experience?

you got it. slow day. well, everyday is a slow day for me. Just to make sure its a small axle, count the splines or bring it over and I will check it with my extra old school axles.

To answer your question, yes it is just that easy. Some have said that you'll need to shave a tiny bit of material off the splined ends (1/4 or so from memory), but mine slipped into the S2 RX-7 diff without any drama. Your results may vary, but mine was a complete bolt-in swap.
