the goldin brothers really did a nice job on that car, havent seen a bunch of rx8 race cars so they really got somethin different at their stable

Paul_in_DC: I take it you were @ Daytona? Any chance you know anything beyond about the engine beyond that it's a "race 20B?" I don't really know what was going on with them, they appeard to have problems early in the race, but they were running @ the end.

This thread might be better suited in the Race Car forum. There's nothing RX-8 about that car other than the general shape.

Yes, Rx8 is allowed in GT class in 3 rotor form. Either full uni-body, semi-tube or from what goldin did full tube frame.

thats cool, at lease they allowed on the GT class, sucks that i never saw it in on the race on speed channel

That car sounds amazing in person. I got there around 4pm on saturday, it came by as I was walking next to the front straight, It was great. I called like 3 people just to let them hear it when it came by.
