Very nice car indeed. I also own one and have the same idea as you , to get an upgraded ECU either one to just jack into the factory harness or a Haltech E11.

Can you describe the process you went through to get it registered and legal here in the States? I'm thinking of picking one up nexy year, they're super cheap in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. A friend of mine sent me the NZ equivalent of Auto Trader and they had a 3 rotor Cosmo with ~100,000 kms for US$6500.

i think he ment the rev-limiter it cuts off at 180mph..correct me if wrong..love the car..but the auto would come out and a 6spd or any manuel tranny would be put in..love the car
