That bracket is a chopped up and modified Racing Beat Holley carb throttle bracket! Get some 1/8 or 1/4" steel, cut a strip (I used a dremel), drill two holes so the shaft of a 12mm bolt will fit, slot one so the cable fits thru, and bend the sucker. Many people, including me, have used bent alternator brackets but they do bend slightly do to the long notch...metal that thickness is about right though. I found this in the garage and made it work.

I agree with the consensus of DAAMM! Nice car, more pics of the outside please. Where did you find the air dam for the front and do you remember what that color was called? It's kinda like what I'm looking at painting my 85 gslse

The air dam was sourced on ebay a year ago, it's actually for a Datsun 510 but 2's and 10's ,must have the same frontal dimensions cause it fits perfectly. Got it from a guy in Anaheim, 5 or so blocks from Disneyland!

Its a form of Laural Blue, I just looked through the PPG catalog and picked one. I think it was from the mid-'90's.

Hey, I know the guy your talking about, I bought an airdam for my old 510 from him. He was planning a rotary swap for his car at the time.
