I would like to see an Rx-7 built to this scale....haha

And i thought MY apex seals were puny and fragile! ....now if only i could find a single turbo kit to fit it....

They aren't used for anything. It's just an exercise in engineering/manufacturing something tiny.

if anyone's interested. O.S. (and r/c car and plane engine manufacturer) builds a single rotar wankel. One guy put it in a 4wd 1/8 scale monster truck, and it would break traction from a stop.

I think I've seen pictures of that. It needed an alternator fan on the output shaft because it's air cooled.

I knew about the OS engine (marketed by German RC manufacturer Graupner overhere), which is very well known in Europe. They've been making it for ages.
I also knew that "giant" but the really small one is new too me.
Anyway, the coin sized one wasn't just an excersize. They have been experimenting with these miniature engines to make small generators. Like a Rotary engined mobile phone Mostly for military use.
