Newbie with a GLC project

Picked me up a little project.
I will post pics of my progress as I go.
I am painting it BMW alpine white and redoing the interior. Also will be por15 the under carraige.

I have already stripped the interior and I am cleaning up the wiring. I am also trying to figure out this Holley as I have never owned a carbed car. I will be doing my reading in the archives for awhile.

Why would you change the color? The stock orange is suited well for that type of car.

White? That orange is great - suits the car perfectly. Looks like a fun project.

I will not be swayed by the purists . It will be white. I may cruise it orange for a while though as it seems I need a few more things to get this thing daily road worthy like a fmoc, better radiator and electric fan, better alternator, new carb, regulator, I also want to throw my 6al msd I have sitting around on it so I need a couple of coils. I found two rx7's in the junk yard the otherday one with a 12a and one with a 13b and both with 5 speeds. I might buy both engine and tranny's because the yard owner said he would sell them for $250. I am getting into this rotary thing. I love it. My mustang has been getting neglected since I got this glc. I want to take out the 4 speed and put a 5 speed in it. The wiring is pretty nasty to so I am thinking about a painless harness seeing as this thing still uses those little glass fuses lol. I am rambling on but here are some pics of stripping it down for painting the roll bar and floorpans.
