Maybe, but I figured it would go to a good home! How's it going Dave?

No doubt it's cleaner than the one I've kept for my dad and myself but I'm already into it plus I'm way too busy to be jumping projects. I know Hector (Mazdaorbust) is super excited about it. We talked on the phone almost every other day for a month or so before it showed up to CT. I've been so busy with my son (9 months old), full time school, and work that I know for a little bit Hector was getting worried. I told him he'd be happy in the end!!!

Hey Vince,

Hows it going? I'm just here working on the truck. The temperature here in CT is still in the 40's with no snow. I'll take this winter with no problems. Do you know where I could pick up a new gas cap and door mirrors? If you do can you let me know. I ordered everything for the front brakes which should be next week and it goes to my friends garage to straighten out the electrical problems. After that I start working on the motor and exhaust. I already have other projects lined up like repainting the wheels after a little cleaning and finding the door seals and window trim. I don't plan on painting it next I just want to get it roadworthy so I can get more weird looks when I drive around town. In other words life is great! Thanks again Vince.

Hey Chris,

Thanks for stopping down yesterday. It was fun just talking about repu's for a while. I'll definitly look foward to visiting you once the my truck is ready for the road.

I hope everyone has a GREAT NEW YEAR!!!

Hector

Hey Hector,

Thanks for having me over I appreciate it,and just seeing another RE/PU in New england was thrill enough for me(bonus for being the same color as mine).I will get you some better pics of mine ASAP.It really looks better in person than it does in pics, which is hard to believe. Now I just need to get my but in gear, and work on it.

Hey Vince that was a pretty nice truck you sold there. It isn't perfect, but is mostly rust free, and is a great absis for a resto. Thanks for helping out a fellow East Coast rotorhead with a nice old school Mazda.

Hector, here is a pic of it at the shipping yard when I dropped it off.

Speaking of you driving around town and getting weird looks... if you could of only seen the looks on the people's faces at the shipping company!!! They must of though I was crazy when I told them it was a rare truck and to take good care of it. I still get nervous shipping a car. All in all it seems like that was a pretty decent freight company though.

Cool new owner

The guys at the shipping company were still trying to figuire out what the truck was when I got there. Once I told them they said it was interesting and most of them said they never saw one before with a rotary engine. It was actually funny. Cant wait until it's on the road.
