Props

I never completely finished my one - got as far as unroadworthy rotor hack. Mine had 13B J-port Weber etc... but was just way too loud and I couldnt sort any decent brakes to pull it up. The whole thing was positively lethal.
But I love hearing of finished RX-Beetles well done and what a unique conversion.

Yeah, my dad and I are wanting to build a square tube chassis using 2nd gen suspention and a supercharged '74 4 port 13B and then dropping a beetle shell over it.

The motor would be in the front and we'd have to shorten the drivshaft, but otherwise i think it would work.

spec's on the 72 S4

Hi
Glad you enjoy what i have done to the car
She ran a 14.2 with .3 bar boost over the 1/4mile
and 13.8 with .6bar same day just a bit later
I think she can do better but not with me behind the wheel
The motor is bone stock pushing +- 95kw and 190nm
on .3bar
and with .6 she makes 108kw and 215nm all at the wheels
not allot but enough to play with other cars
The gearbox has
1x super diff with 4 spider gears
close ratio 3&4
with some bigger side shafts and thicker side plate
exhaust
has 1x free flow box from tnt with 63" pipe from turbo to box all in all not even 1m long

ecu is mt8 from microtec
running the fuel and ignition
ignition is 4x bosch coils with crank angle sensor

other than that she has a monster tach some sound and disks brakes up front and stage 1 drums at the back with bucket seats

hope this answers all the questions

in drag racing terms ya wnat the engine in the back

rotorbeetle i think your perfomance figures are a little low...have you compression checked the engine and turbo?
