Here's a pic of how the oil lines fit taken from beneath the car. This was a big reason I had to get rid of the origanal motor mount set up. There was no way to route these lines with it in the way... You can see just above the lower oil cooler line I marked a spot I was going to originally mill a radius in, but it fit without having to do that. And above that the 180° fitting sits in its spot nicely.
And a shot from above. I am debating on adding a brass washer to the passenger side oil cooler line that is exiting the oil cooler. It's almost a perfect strait line to the front cover fitting. It's less noticeable in person. But this picture bothers me enough to want to make it perfectly strait....lol

I chose the electric water pump for a few reasons. One is the high RPM cavitation problem. The other is purely for power. The motor only has to turn the alternator now. Reducing drag heavily compared to stock. I plan to swap to an E&J electric water pump in the future. It does the same thing. But bolts directly to the stock water pump housing.

Been a while...
I started on my alternator tensioner. Which is the last part to complete my FD alternator set up. I might make a pulley later on but it's not necessary right now. I might put a bunch of holes or make it look cooler or something like that. But this is the basic shape for now.

I finally installed the front lip now that everything is cut, welded, and removed from the front end. It took quite a bit if stretching to get this thing to fit given its about as old as the car. It's a New Old Stock piece from the early 70's.
I also grabbed up a carbon hood from a member on here. These things come up rarely, so grab it when you see it!

The water pump outlet had to be cut and angled differently once again. The -16 AN lines are not very flexible. Also making it impossible to fit the upper line to the AN fitting on the radiator as well. So I had to cut off the existing one patch the hole. Then I had to make this cool little riser. Although it was a pain to cut everything off and have to make new parts. It does look better now.

i hear you on Deals Gap, brother. i would love to make it, myself. it's been 8 years since i last went and that's 8 years of wanting. 
you are several stratospheres more talented that i am, so i have faith you will make it. needless to say, if you ever find yourself in need of 2 extra hands all you have to do is let me know.
as for the Semi-PP Renesis project, it's going, but it's not. i'm not really rushing. at any rate i'm making strides with getting parts as i can. i basically need a good (or at least decent) pair of rotors. i think that is all i have left as far as needed parts is concerned. i just bought a shaft in the last 2 weeks or so. so basically rotors and the rebuild kit and i'll have what i need to assemble it.
i'm more interested in getting the FC running first because THAT is what i would like to drive to DGRR (among other reasons).

So I started building my fuel cell. I removed the horribly placed Holley pump and all the old emissions crap from the trunk. I didn't want to put the cell underneath. I didn't want to place a box in the trunk taking up space and throwing off the weight distribution even worse. And I definitely did not want to cut the trunk floor up. Plus, I wanted to make something a little different. As usual.
So I put it as forward as possible which is directly over the rear weels (added benefit). It's tucked in and fit to the space very tightly. Even the rear seat angle came out just right. There is a hump towards the rear seat area which worked to my benefit. That made it possible to build a sump area with all of the fuel cell being flat on the trunk floor without cutting the floor. *This is noticeable in pictures posted in the next few poasts.
This was the set up that was on the car when I bought it. Holley Red with the stock fuel tank. I still have to pull the stock tank. Ehhh....

This s the trap door set up I came up with. I learned from another fuel cell I built that baffling and/or trap door is a must. Even though there is a low area/sump, your pump will eventually suck air. Most likely while braking.
Since this is a street car, not a race car. I didn't go crazy with it. Just a basic trap door set up.

I think I have more money in AN fittings than I do the car now... Which is dumb on this thing because it's hidden under the dash behind the fire wall! Keeping with my goal of hiding everything for a clean look. The only part of the fuel system that will be visible is 2 AN fittings and a few inches on baided hose.
(The wires are apart of the ongoing re-directed of the entire car. It never ends)
The AN fitting comes right out of the firewall just below the VIN number. Which annoyed me because to have a perfectly strait hose here, I would of had to drill through the VIN plate.... damn it!

Awesome work. Couple question, what sixe fitting are those? And what's the width of the fuel tank? I'm actually glad to see this. I don't have the funny tank that is under where the speakers would be. I assume it's not needed.

The "funny tank" is for emissions i believe, and not needed.

I have now completed the fuel system, kind of. The only thing left to do besides add gas is decide on how/where I will put the filler tube. Right now it's just that tube sticking up next to the fittings on top. Oh, and weld on my bungs for the fuel level sight gauge...
BUT.... Niether of those can really stop me from staring the car if I really wanted too!
