Even better, can't beat good original stuff.

Carlos, did you end up getting a set of those tail lights at all?

Yes Carlos Ilarazza was the owner of this SP, he did an outstanding job in the paint job himself and making the car the way it looks today. I am only changing a couple of things in the car to make it more personnal, Radiator, Sterring Wheel, Oil Cooler, Carburator, Fuel Pump, new rotor cap, rotor, spark plugs, clutch kit, just making it more my style, I used to own one back in 1977 bougth it from EL Paso Texas at Mack Massey Mazda.

Thanks for the pics Juan, they're a little blury but I think I get the gist of it. I'm still not convinced about the side louvers though because on my car the lip where the windows would mount up (if they were fixed) is reccessed further in.

Also, I'd like to know exactly what the rear spoiler mount looks like, the piece that attaches the spoiler to the boot lid. Is it a one piece section or 6 small brackets?

Only one braket at bottom and just holes in the fiberglass with screws and caps on it. Screws on the botom and top of the spoiler, on the louvers there are small screws are rematchs

I wonder if anyone has a pic of the bracket then.

I might have a pair of side louvers lined up, the guy says they're plastic and are original "SHADOWLINE" louvers (in his words) but I thought they would be metal like the rear window louver. Should they be plastic or metal?

Thanks for all the help too, much appreciated.

Regarding the ignition switch Juan, they might be the same as the early RX-4's. I took one out of a 73 RX-4 sedan and it was identicle to the one in my 77 808 and they (late 808's) share a lot of parts with the SP.

I dont know anything about its condition other than what I was told that but would be willing to sell it if you might be able to use it to have rebuilt.
What year is the Transmission? and how much.

How did you go with the ignition switch Juan?

Can you or anyone else give me detailed information and/or pics of the bracket(s) used to mount the rear spoiler onto the boot/trunk lid please? Preferably in the next couple days, my car will be getting painted very soon and we really need to know what to do about these spoiler brackets before the car gets painted.
