My cosmic Girl - Stock Cosmo Pics (JC-ESE)
Hi all.
Here's a few pictures of my Cosmo. Stock, except for a REa ECU. 76000 km, 20B, VIN 100064. Anyone know of any older(-lower VIN) Cosmo with 20B still living?
I will keep it stock, and enjoy the smooth, effortless pull of the engine. I dig the Cosmo more and more !

Now I know why you complained about using a front clip.. in that B2600. (I was the one driving that 20b truck at sevenstock)
Awesome car.. I wish they had them here, I'd buy one in an instant.

BTW, weren't these cars only available with automatic transmissions?

Just wondering how true is that, got any government sites I can look at to check more into it?
What kind of gas mileage does it get?
And finally thats a cool looking car, I thought they were all old box looking things. I want one.

As for fuel economy, Not sure the exact figures. But using a specific fuel consumption of around 0.45 lbs per hp per hour and you should get a highway fuel economy of around 20 mpg. In city traffic you'll pay dearly at around 12 mpg. Typical for a car producing a peak hp of 345-ish. But if you can afford the car...

More info..
Hi.
The car is a 1990 model. Sport type.
Gasmileage is terrible ! About 2 litre pr 10 km.
I love the car more and more. But now she's sleeping in a dry barn the whole winter.
I am thinking of getting some new wheels on it. I'll post some pics when I do. But it will not happen until spring 2005.
Have a nice day.

The Cosmo is a sweet car........... It looks like a better version of a first gen Lexus SC400... I'm almost sure it was built to compete with the SC...........

Wow- I've never seen such good pics of a late model Cosmo before... sweet as hell. Stupid question- the body looks a lot like the 929 that we got in the states- did Mazda share the platform with the Cosmo? In addition to an FD my dad still has a mint 929... I can only imagine how incredible a 20B would be in there.
