my 75 repu

Hey guys hows it going, BLWFLY told me to stary my own thread so here it is, my names Haydon and i live in New Zealand this is my repu that ive owned for 5 years it came from Bakersfield CA.

driveline
13b pp brand new s4 plates and housings, new rx8 rotors slotted for 3mm carbon apex seals and mfr rotor bearing, i cant rember what shaft we put in i think s6 ?? 20b stat gears new, s6 solid corner seals and springs new rx8 side seals and springs new counter weights had the rotating assembly balanced, a good friend done the pp's. clearance and built by B.P.G. and me.
s3 12aturbo gbox reconditioned by green brothers
standard driveshaft and diff
new real deal radiators custom radiator and oil cooler

brakes
brand new hubs mechined by another good friend and i welded up holes in axles and drilled them 5x 114 pcd
running s4 disks and calipers

suspension is getting sorted by matt at T.D.S.

wheels simmons FR18 18"x8"

induction
trusty 48ida sitting on custom s/s manifold with nylon risers and 4 1/2" k&n
holley red pump and reg
black speedflo fittings and xrp fuel filter
-8 and -10 s/s braided hose
1/2" pick up in tank

exhaust
2" steam pipe headers ceramakromed
2x18" rota resonators
2x12" rota resonators
then in to 2 1/2 " boiler muffler
quite as for vinning ect dont wont trouble from the con stabs

ingition
locked dizzy
new style boshe coils
ngk racing plugs
will have custom leads made up just black
rev rite rev limter
autometer gauges

had truck rewired ect
any thing that can be polished or chromed has been hinges xmembers ect

hammer file finished
colour is house of kolour kandy apple red
base coat is spies hecker gold
under carriage has had a 3m chip guard applied then a 2k red
chassis is kandy
have detailed with the gold hear and there

custom interior red and white vinyl new weather seal kit
all new rear taillights and side markers
theres probably heaps ive forgotten it was in a pretty sad state when i first got her (if it was mint wouldnt have taken as long)i didnt want to chop her up there were thoughts earlier on in the build i cant wait to drive it.

wow thats nice! i got some questions tho....did u change the front spindles? cause it looks like from the picture your running 4 lug...i really want to do this to my truck is any way that u can give me some hinters

those are 5 lug

most small pick up wheels fit the repu i have toyota mags on myn plus there rated for more weight right

I see you corrected the wider front track when you made your hubs. Do you have the drawings for the hubs you had made? I'd like to do the same thing here in the states.

i think most of the design was just jotted on paper but i can ask my friend if he still has the plans??

cheers guys once again thank you for the kind words , i should be picking it up from the drop shop in a couple weeks so will be able to attack it when it gets back hope to have doors together ready to hang when its back.

Hey fellow kiwi !! Man it looks good with those rims flush with the guards. Pretty much every other repu out there has the tyre outside the guard look. Cant wait to see it driving, Good work

VERY NICE!!!!

That engine colour combo works really well in the engine bay.

Good choice of engine/carby combo too, last time I used that I had 7 years of daily driving without a single problem.

Yes indeed mats work its 2nd to none thats why i took it too him umm no bags just some chassis mods front and rear so that i can pass a warrent of fittness as i had chopped b1600 springs and blocks and re aranged leafs at the back now i am using the og repu springs and will have bumpstop clearance.

cheers mate yea it took a bit of nutting out to get the right offset but happy as with the outcome, me too cant wait too drive it thats for sure, hows that rx3 going ??

thanks its the base coat under the kandy, yea i hope to be driving it a fair bit over summer fingers crossed.
