Yeah my plan was to remove it cause i wanted a red scheme. But im finding my self with less time this days so i put it up for sale. I don't need to sell it, just want to see if i can get what i want. If not ill just drop it off in storage and finish her when i can.

I might have to sell mine- I dont want to and I know i'll miss it!!!
Keep it if you can- you'll be so happy once you are driving it about- they get so many more looks when cruzin' about than any modern car and are so fun!!!

Well my plan is to drop it off at the body shop here in future if i can sort out this deal. Then i don't mind keeping it in my garage till i redo the underbody and engine. But as it sits its just taking up space and i cant really do body work at home. If i keep it plan A. Do body work and finish it slowly. B. Put it in storage till i get time.
I know car will be awesome when done!

Some work i did today. Gonna brush off all the **** and rust from front wheel wells tomorrow then spray black rust tough. Also thinking of dropping off bumper and right fender to get acid cleaned. Then see how bad that rust hole on the fender is. Either redo that or buy another one.
Pics
And finally my other baby!!
It will get another drop monday. Then DD till winter and spend my money on the Rx3.

Update!!
Been slowly taking things off the car. Right now its all stripped interior minus dash(hard to get off ). Turns out rear seat floor is pretty rusted, good thing is i don't see any holes. Will find out later when i remove all rust. Trunk has the fuel tank still which i will take out this weekend. The trunk floor is in really bad shape. Someone cut where the spare went and then adden a alum sheet and rivets to cover up. Guessing they put a fuel cell or it rotted out. again it has lots of rust but not many holes. Should be easy to replace. Engine bay still has engine and tranny. Should have those out this weekend. All wiring is hanging on sides. Once engine out i will start Soda blasting the engine bay and wheel wells. Then slowly move towards the back.
Im new to welding but i will try my hardest to get better lol. But otherwise i will be doing everything besides hard welds and paint.

Somebody cut spare mount out and put that on. Did a horrible job covering it. So my plan is to blast floor and see how bad it is. Then replace both layers with sheet metal and call it a day.
And I have a few t2 tranny mounts for it. It's a simple job to do.

Yes everything about the car is original. We have papers since day 1 with add-ons from mazda dealership. Owner was superb at keeping all the records. Has sticker on dash from 1989 when engine was rebuilt at 67k miles.
