Miata suspension in a R100?

To all the old school gurus!

Like the title says... Miata suspention in a R100?

I've searched this forum and no info on the above title. Since there are plenty of aftermarket Miata suspension parts and no R100 aftermarket suspension parts... Being that Miata is a Mazda/small/recent/popular... I was wondering if any Miata suspension components would fit a R100 or any other little old RX's?

Thanks in advance,
Dwayne

Dwayne . I'm sure any thing is possible try measuring your R100 width with a miata and also measure your lower frame crossmember, to see if the whole assembly will fit under your R100 ,I have made se stuts fit turbo 2 brakes and rotors as well as fit a complete FC front suspension crossmember and stuts under a FB it takes some time but what a difference in steering (Rack and Pinion) and Huge brakes, can do

I would say don't do it... The R100 will be worth more in stock original trim

One guy put Miata independent rear suspension (subframe) in 1st Gen Rx7 for SCCA racing or something. He had to cut the whole rear portion of the unibody to make it fit. You would have to search for his post to find out if it was a worthy project.

Hope that helps
