It does look photoshopped but there are alot of people who put rotories in thier toyota corrolas & starletts. I had a 12A corrolla but had to sell it because the floor was rusting through.

Ok I will be the bad guy. This is a photochop job because it isn;t even a AE86. hopefully the included pic will help some of you out.
it does appear to be of Australian decent though. look at the engine bay, and the extreme lack of wires, not too many US guys run rotaries that way. Lates Matt22

I will post more pics and more proof. We want it to look very neat that is the reason everything are hidden. Everything was custom made we used Chevy mounts for the motor and tranny. The suspension is all Toyota and untouch because we didn't to mess with that. A custom braket was put together to make the motor fit in the bay. The rear is from a Mustang cut to fit with coilovers.

so you hys cut a new tunnel for the tranny and fitted a rear end? lets see some pics dated recently or the drivetrain. oh and how about a vin cause thats a ae92. Not a rear wheel drive ae86. a shot of the vin would be sufficant.

Negative on the tunnel. The Mazda fits in there just right we had to make minor adjustment for the shifter that is it. The drive shaft is custom made and the rear is an 8.8 Ford Mustang rear. This model is rear drive.

ya you can't call that vin any proof. let get a good pics of it or the vin number on the door jam, of the dash, or the trunk lid. its an ae92 which is front wheel drive.

^Crazy this is what a ae86 look like.

hmm what does yours look like?

Hey Matt you sound really ignorant. I thought you knew about old school cars. This car is a factory rear wheel drive Corolla. This body style goes from 84 thru 87. 88 thru 92 is the front wheel drive Corolla which has a different body style. And props to Bumblebeez. P.S. I think the first few pics of your car was sufficient for guys who know about rotary swaps and stuff. These kids who've never seen these swaps just take a trip to Atco Raceway in New Jersey or Salinas, Carolinas in Puerto Rico or Australia and take pictures and post them here so they can cry photoshop on you too.

What's with you people?

AE86 is the chassis code. Just like FD3S is a chassis code. Suprise, suprise, there are Corollas both in Japan and the US which have the same chassis code but steer from different sides. Amazing!

And yes, they made GT-S Corollas of that generations both in hatchback and notchback forms.
