Check this auction on ebay. It is a 1960 Mazda R360 Coupe. It was the first Mada production car! It featured a 360cc V2 aircooled motor good for about 16Hp and was available with an automatic tranny (very rare for an early Japanese car of this displacemant). They were built from 1960-1964.

Have you ever seen a Subaru 360? I got to ride in one once. I had to promise the owner that I'd give him a ride in my rotary powered vehicle.

 

hmm, that thing looks a llot like a subaru 360. Pretty neat piece of history.

 

my parent's neighbor has a subaru 360. cool little clown car. i was thinking about making an offer and bring it home in the bed of my REPU but new parts are not available. officially the 360 was never imported by subaru. a guy imported a bunch of them and sold them on his lot. very slow seller. towards the end of the run he was trying to get rid of them 3 for $6000!!!!!!!

 

I bet a 360 would do better powerwise if it were upgraded to 654.
