Mazda vintage comp tester - what is it worth?

Hi all.

I have what looks like a brand new apperance vintage comp tester. What is this worth?

Someone offeered me 250 Usd for it, but I think that is a steal, and was reluctant to sell at this price. How common are these, and what do you think it will sell for?

nice but most RX owners are broke (from blowing motors left and right) so they will settle for a cheap-*** harbor freight modified compression gauge. Be prepared to get a low-ball offer

No "How much is this car or parts worth?" type threads. To determine this, do a basic scan on Autotrader.com, Ebaymotors.com, or search the appropriate classifieds here to see what they are going for, etc. to figure out what the average price is for a given car or part. Threads posted here asking our members to estimate the value of your car will be deleted.

I understand the rules and the reasoning behind them, but this is completely SILLY in these circumstances. How many rotary compression testers do you see for sale on any of the sites you've listed? Zero. Vintage rotary compression testers? Less than zero. I believe you'd be hard-pressed to find another one of these for sale anywhere...and he's not even saying this one is for sale. Please apply some common sense to your moderating.

+1, I was amazed, especially on a Rotary forum, for a reply like that from a moderator.

That thing is OLD, it has the date on it there, and if I remember how to de-cypher Japanese dates properly, thats from about 1974, so over 35years old and brand new and unused!

i purchased one just like it 2 months back for 250 plus shipping in working condition with 2 extra rolls of paper.

Could be interested in another one but I also just spent a fortune buying a GT3-Rx7
