Which Mazda Trucks Has a 3 Rotory Engine?

I am recently new to RX-7's. I need to swap an engine on one of mine. I hear that you can stick 2 rotory engines together. That seems like more work then I want, but I also heard that there are some Mazda trucks that have a 3 rotor engine, and that would be an easier mechanical swap. If antone knows, Please let me know which truks and years of those trucks, or if you have done it or know an article or link for me to look at let me know. Thanks. -Blake

You are correct... ^^^

The only "truck" to come with a rotary PERIOD, was the REPU (74-77?) and it came with a 13B 2-rotor... You can't just "stick" 2 rotaries together... It's a bit more complicated than that... In fact doing a 20B (3-rotor) swap is pretty diffictult in itself for an amateur...

Yeah, I have only seen one person that has succesfully placed 2-2rotors together. Kind of a nead concept but I am sure that it was a PITA.

Stick with a 2 rotor and just turbo it

the best place I know of for this swap is on WWW.MAZDATRUCKIN.COM and you will want to look in the rotary section of the forum... I have put a 2 rotor in mine and there are sevreal others that have done the same with theres mazda trucks on that forum...
