i like the blue one,
the white one has a smaller front lip than the other SP's, is it a SP genuine lip?
if these were stock SP's wouldn't they pass emissions in cali? i'd try and keep them all stock and original

Grand Prix Red, the reddy orange colour
AY Impulse Blue
White
Silver
2 shades of Yellow, as in the car in the top pic and a lighter shade called Flair Yellow
I don't know the colour codes, other than the "AY" for Impulse Blue.
There were a few green cars that weren't supposed to recieve the appearence pack treatment. This is correct as far I'm aware and from what I've read about these cars.

Out of the cars pictured, 3 are not correct original colours, those being the red, green and light cream cars. The appearence pack RX-3SP's came in:
Grand Prix Red, the reddy orange colour
AY Impulse Blue
White
Silver
2 shades of Yellow, as in the car in the top pic and a lighter shade called Flair Yellow
I don't know the colour codes, other than the "AY" for Impulse Blue.

I think the rotor emblem for the grill was on all rx3s until 75-76. SPs didn't have them. And I have a magazine article somewhere, where Heming's interviewed Billy Denizard and he said they came in 7 colors. He didn't specify what colors they were, but based on the cars he had I believe they were white, yellow, blue, green, silver, Red, and Orange. I'm going to dig around and see if I can find something in one of my magazines or brochures

Yes there were 2 different front end.. One from 72-73(10A) in Australia was smaller nose with metal headlights bezel and 74-78(12A) Australia has a larger nose with plastic headlights bezel. SP's didn't come with grill badges... Some guy just added on their own.

Sorry to burst u r bubble Keith, that green one is all original except for the motor... The car still has the sticker from the Mazda dealer in Iowa where it was purchase new. To my understanding these are the color that they came in... regarding the orange car the color was enhance a little but that car is almost flawless. .. pictures don't them justices. Maybe in Australia the paint code don't show those colors, but that was what available.
We didn't get the series 3 RX-3 in Australia, only the 808. I'm pretty sure the colours I mentioned above were specific to the RX-3 SP. Maybe if someone can find some technical info regarding the colours they can post it up here?
SP's did have a grille badge but it wasn't rotor shaped, just a plain small "MAZDA" badge on the left side of the grille.
