And, the "other conversions" section in this forum would be more supportive.
Even a "mere" 300 whp LS1 in there (about 350 at the flywheel, not hard at all, stock is what, 330?) is going to make it RIP. rear steer eliminator bushings and coilovers, and real tires, and you'd out HANDLE most cars period. Dont let people say it ***** up handling, OR weight, its been proven to not do either!

I don't know about less than 200. However the difference between a longblock LS1, and a longblock 13-brew is 20-30lbs. Not sure how much an n/a 13b, or a 13b-t from a second gen weighs, however I'm sure its not much heavier than a 13bt longblock when you consider the additional weight of the turbosystem, intercooler, etc. If your comparing it to an n/a 13b, then yes, it is about 100lbs heavier, but it makes about 3 times the horsepower and 4 times the torque...so that really wouldn't be an issue. lol
