Jeep Cherokee
Now before I even start im going to put my flame suit on.
there all better. Anywho. I have an 88 jeep cherokee with at LEAST 300k miles on it. The engine was rebuilt but i dont know how long that will last.
I did some research but could not come up with anything.
For the lulz id like to drop a 13b in it when the i6 bites the dust finally. Anyone herd of this being done?
I am starting to build up a fab shop so I can make mounts and such.

Common swap on the Suzuki Samurai and Sidekicks because they're so small.
Cherokee is larger. I think you'll need torque.
The 4.0L I6 is damn near bulletproof, a nice torquey engine, and has loads of aftermarket.
Or you can go V8.
The rotary is not recommended for this though.

Torque can be exchanged for speed with gears. and in 4x4 low you have all the torque you'll need.
I was thinking if it were to be done you'd need a ported 13bt with a super instead
or if i were determined enough i saw someone bolt two 13b together. no not a 26b but a coupler that attached the front of one to the back.

yea you can bolt together 2 FD engines and link the throttles n ****
The possibilities are endless
2 fd engines tho bolted together probably would wanna make sure it's a strong link, you wont have double the power i dont think

I would start with trany and build from that. Adapting a 13b to a Jeep trany would be a crazy amount of work. Figure out what chevy trany the V8 guy swap in and find an adapter from the 13b to the chevy trans ( I think there are adapter for the turbo 350, and 400) Honestly back engineering a V8 swap kit would be the way to go. Then again you could away just stick with the V8
