Input on rotary honda

I love my 1st gen but i can see my self outgrowing it. I dont want another FC and the FD just doesnt flick my Bic.

I gave a little thought to a s30 with a rotor transplant, but that would throw off the overall balance of the car.

My next best would be a 3 rotor S 2000. I've got 0 hits on google or youtube so this is pretty virgin territory for wankle.

So I'm asking you guys, What do you think? any input?

So far I see a motor and tranny swap with a stand alone ecu and a custom drive shaft

Help

Good question, anybody got dimensions on a 3 rotor with trans?

And yeah I'm looking into 3 rotor history, types and specs.

I don't think it's been done is because the S2k motor is a damned good motor. Why don't you think of other options, like an older Z car? 510, 280, 240, etc.?

I have always wanted to do a VW Beetle 13B swap. The older Beetle's obviously. You can pick them up for a decent price in good condition.

The F20 is an awesome motor, it's just ridiculously expensive to F/I the motor.

I'm pretty sure if you can fit a 2JZ in an S2K you can fit a 3 rotor. Search for 2JZ S2K and you'll find that car. Very cool swap.

Not necessarily. Depends on how much room there is between the frame rails. Rotaries are sort of wide engines.

the problem doing this swap is the rear end of the car. in a super street mag a pro drifter put the s2k motor in his 240. i believe the problem with the rear end is the fact the Honda spin the wrong way. i could be wrong.

but i know its true for there fwd cars the motor spins backwards compared to other motors.
