Yes, I know this guy personally. He got me in the place.
CD Cosmo - 75-81
Dont know about the 76 models but in 1975, the 75-model Japanese car-of-the-year sold near 55,000 examples in Japan alone.
As an export it was a flop so its best year in OZ (1975) saw very poor results with 1976 even less.
Mazda did two versions
Series-I = 75-78
Series-II = 79-81

yep all the US Spec Cosmos were 4X120, as for how many were built mazda's numbers only show about 10k for North America however almost 9k of those were built in 76, i should know i have about 0.15% of North American Cosmos and I think between me and the atkins clan we can probably claim to have owned at least 1% at one time or another.

Funny that I found this forum. I couldn't believe no one picked up this car from me for $500 delivered. I only had this for sale to fund some of my Jag XJ6 conversion. The one thing I've learned is to jump on a deal. I have taken it off the market by the way. Greg seems like a nice enough guy, I'm glad I wasn't gonna give him credit for this car from what I read. I think I'm gonna get a 12A from my freind and get this car rolling down the road for a few hundred bucks, I'll do it for everyone elses pleasure.
