Talking how to fix the floppy door windows

Hello All

I got tired of the wind draft getting in by the uneven and floppy door windows I decided to fix the problem.

Well, is not as easy as I thought. When I took the window apart and I noticed the bushing or spacer that keep the window on the track was crumbled in million pieces.

I went to the local store to see it I could find something that would work, but nothing, so i started making my own.

Well I tried but no luck,

Does anyone knows where i can find the them?

I was using a round material I had laying around, if I cant find the right one, I will try again with a sheet material and mill to spec.
Here are some picts in no particular order.......

update

Hello Bob

I dont think the RX-7 windows are the same since they have a frame, the RX-4's windows are frameless and the track inside the doors keeps the window square and straight, thats if the bushings are in good order.

I was hoping someone tell me, just got to the dealer and pick up a set!

I wasnt pleased with the round style bushing,so I made some new ones with a small piece I fount in the bottom of the door frame, so i copied it with the new material.

The material is called UHMW (Banzaitoyota mentioned on another site, and I got some material to make me some suspension bushing and engine mounts)

Here are some picts. I know this dont apply to many people but if you need the dimentions pm me,

Tomorrow after work am installing them...............
