I purchase this Mazda Rx 2 a few months ago and I am having trouble finding suspension parts for it....there's probably a thread started on this, but in reality if people know of any place or links it would be much appreciated....

what are you looking for? stock replacement? performance aftermarket? That 2 looks tasteeee. I love the color. TurboDave does a lot with these cars, maybe hit him up and he can point you in the right direction. Good luck getting it on the road.

I remember that car. It was the one up in North Dakota. Very nice color. I should know. Here what it's look like with a paint job.

Also front 1st gen rx7 insert with the re-speed space for the front. I believe S5 rear will work with very little mod. I could be wrong thou.

If you need bushings for it, I have old school RX SuperPro bushings on sale right now. I should have all bushings for your car in stock. Check out my website www.j-auto.net

Apparently the spring mounts off the old shocks will pop off and slide onto these. not sure exactly how true that is. I had to order a set from Australia. You could also upgrade to Function Form Coil overs

Function Form Type 2 Full Coilovers 72-75 Mazda RX-2 - Ad#: 197703 - Addoway

You really have to look for the parts but they're out there. Except for tie rods, those are really hard to come by because the RHD ones are different than the LHD ones. I've heard you can get away with getting the inner and outer RHD tie rod ends but I haven't personally used them.

not sure about the US stuff but in most places the rx2 got the non rebuild gas strut cartridge and the piston capella gets the oil filled unit

aftermarket gas struts made for rx2 and 4 and sometimes 7 are often the same but may use a different spacer at the bottom

maybe you should search the oz distributers?

the s4/5 rear struts can be made to fit the capella rear
( rebush the bottom eye and put on your three bolt strut top )

te510 L and te479 L outer tie rods ( taper changes with model year ) are still avail on ebay
( thinks the te 479L is for sa22c and needs an extra washer as a spacer in early rx2 application )

cone bushes for the idler arm are still avail

and bush for the steering column , use the sa22c part and file off one nub to fit
