Ok, so it's time to let the world know that I got another Rx5!
Beeing a parent sort of kills of the "I'm going to restor this car" thing...
My 78 Rx5 will be sold (already got a buyer).
This is a 77 with 67000km on the clock.

Nice find, great looking Cosmo! I wish I still had mine.
So I have a serious question. What's up with calling these cars RX5's? Nowhere on, or in my Cosmo did it say RX5. Is RX5 a Mazda designation for non-USA Cosmo's? Inquiring minds want to know.

trochoid > The wheels are stock Mazda. They came on the cars here. (boltpatterns 4x120)
inittab > The cars were called Rx5 in most parts of the world. Don't know why they called it Cosmo in the us. We'll just call it CD23C from now on..
The paint is not as good as it looks and there is some rust that needs to be fixed but overall the car is in really good shape!
More pics for you comming.

Old cars are great!
No tax, cheap incurace...... downsides, not very good IF you crash, not very good on fule...... apart from that it's just fantastic!
Our son needs to get to know cars...
He spends most of his cartime in our Renault Megan or our "new" Volvo V70 (-00)
