hmm I'm being a bit optimistic but i think that paint could be brought back with a wet sanding, or some buffing with some compound maby. would love to see more pics.

the paint is cracking and peeling up front so i dont think i can save the paint my 3yr old daughter wants to paint it deep purple so we made a deal she can do the sanding hahaha.

i took one sparkplug out of one side cranked and did the same on the other seems its sealing good need to charge a battery and check compression. then maybe put some atf in there or something similar heard deisel will work for eating some carbon up.

i have been looking around for a fuel pump, regulator, gauge but not sure yet.
i had a carter once and it was very loud anyone know of a quieter one? also had a water gauge on the reg but was really inaccurate and once got hot it would read 0 any ideas on what gauges works?

i found little info in the clinton service manual i got with the car about the twin dizy but apears the lower dizzy is leading and top is trailing right? looks like they had the wires in the wrong places lol

will a rx7 5speed work with the rx2 driveshaft? or will it need moding?

I believe you're right on the twin dizzys. I'll take a look on my R100, but from memory I think that's right. My R100 still has the original wires on it and they are all marked for leading and trailing. Kind of nice of them to do that.

not sure bout the drive shaft, but you have to get the early bellhousing because you have the starter on top, unless you are replacing the motor
