Yep, I understand. I recently saw one go for $227 on eBay and mine appears to be in just as good (or better) shape. It was even difficult to see in the photo of the other auction yet people still bid on it.

As for fitting a '74 I am not certain since I've never seen a 74 RX-2. If they didn't completely redesign the dash then I imagine it would fit. Do you happen to have any photos of your dash?

Here is a picture of my 74 interior. I think the dash in the 74's curves around to the vents without any seams. That one thats on sale looks like the top only... hmmmm any interior shots of non 74 RX-2's?

 

This is a shot from my '73 sedan (also still for sale). It appears the dash changed a bit from 73 to 74.
