Yeah the 808 is the piston version of the RX-3...so for finding pics look for RX-3.

A kid I knew in high school was given an 808 wagon by his school BUS DRIVER! It was a rust bucket though and he didn't even know what brand of car it was becuase all the badges had fallen off. One day he forgot to set the hand brake and it rolled out of his drive way and hit a tree. I should find out if his family still has it, maybe there's still some good trim or something.

They have different noses, don't they? So the front won't look the same as an RX-3.

The 808 turned into the rear-drive GLC which was sold until about '84 or '85 or so. I want one of THEM

The 808 has a differnt front K frame than the Rx3, so and engine swap will take some engineering. I have heard that they have a lower rear gear ratio but I am unsure about that.

Ok, mine is an 808. I did the swap and it aint ****. U remove the engine mounts from the 4cyl and the mount for the rotary bolts up with the sway bar, add another hot wire for the extra coil and done. Mine is a '75, the nose change in '76 to 2 lights instead of 4. Tail lights r different also from what is in the 3. The manufacture date on mine is 1/75 and is as close as u'll find to the rx3 right down to the guages.
