First gen bumper on RX-2?
I was looking around on some sites from New Zealand and Australia and came across this picture of an RX-2 race car:
Is it just me or does that look like a first gen RX-7 bumper? It appears that he shortened the sides to make it fit with the fenders. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this, because I always thought the 7 was a wider car. Though its hard to tell from this picture, it looks like the bumper fits pretty well.
BTW, the picture is from the Mazda Rotary Enthusiasts Club's site ( http://www.mrec.homestead.com/files/home.htm )

Yeah I know it's not my favorite, but I was just looking at other options. Here's the nicest one (IMO) I've seen so far:
At first I thought it was an RX-3 airdam, but it's slightly different (or maybe its just the picture, it looks almost exactly alike though):

I wonder if these are the spoilers from Fibremaster? ( http://www.fibremaster.com.au/mazda.htm )

I picked a front air dam up from a 510 guy. Under $100. The angled lip version...in fiberglass. I have usually seen them in a black rubber-like version, but this is glass. It fits perfectly on my 2, or will after I paint and install it. I will send you a pic ASAP.

Here's an Australian place that still sell air dams for early Mazdas, amongst many other old cars:

I'm not a big fan of the one they show for the RX-2, but the RX-4 dam is OK, and they have an "interesting" wing for Rx-3 coupes....
I've never done business with them so I can't coment on that, I'm just letting you know they exist.
