Finally Finished the REPU Upholstery
I have slowly been putting this truck together over the past few years since picking it up in 2003. The goal has to keep it as stock and original as possible .(with exception of the tonneau of course)
I wish I had a better photo to put up of the motor, but a long over due thank you is owed to Karack (ROTARY EVOLUTION) for outdoing himself on the rebuild and working through all of the gremlins that came up after it sat for years. His attention to detail was insane.

Thanks for the compliments
1. The valance will be repaired soon enough
2. The carpet is not a kit, i saved a peice of the original loop carpet that we used to match up and I had the upholstery shop special order it. Same was done for the carpet on the door panels. 74-76 door panels had the metallic trim at base, 77had the carpet. All stitching for the bench and panels matches stock identical. The bench has some serious bounch that I am sure Karack can attest to
3. The dash will be redone soon, I just didnt have the time to remove it.
In the next few weeks I will get the door seals and also new pedal covers. The shift boot could use some cleaning as well.

Awesome
Great looking truck! A buddy of mine had bought one just like from the Mazda dealership in Lawton, OK about 15 years ago. It ended up going out west to Phoenix, with a fellar that was going to work for a Mazda dealership out there. Just wondering if it is the same truck. Take care.

This truck was originally purchased in 1977 by a man named Richard Gilchrist in Sacramento CA. He had just retired at the time and wanted a small truck to go fishing and take his model airplanes to the local airport. He passed away in 1997, at that time it had 104k original miles on the 13b. His wife gave it to his friend at then who stored in indoors until around 2002. It was outdoors for about a year when I happened by it. Got it running, but the motor was tired. THis has been an ongoing project since 2003, I really didnt start touching until 2006 though.
