F/s 74 Rx-4

Complete car minus motor, trans and fuel system. This car is very complete and solid. I hate to part it, but I've got alot on my plate right now and it has to go. Check out the link for pictures of the car. Some highlights are.

Celica Supra Rear end. "Disk Brakes"
Steel Braided brake lines Front and Rear
QA1 Coil over front suspension with GSL-SE brakes and struts.
100 percent complete body. No trim pieces or mouldings missing at all.
Interior is in very good shape. The door panels have one very small tear and the seats patterns are perfect. Just need the outside vinyl replaced. Dash has been replaced with Autometer guages, that will be taken out.

I will sell it either as a shell or for the right price as a runner.

The motor is a 13b D-port with carbon seals, 51mm IDA weber, 2 MSD 6AL boxes and blaster 2 coils. Racing beat plug wires, oil cooler lines and header. The car is pretty much all brand new underneath, just needs to be painted and interior done.

Call me @ 951-255-3340 if you're interested.

Thank,
Robert

Um, So are you selling the car with or without the engine? Price?

*edit*
Are you selling it with those wheels this time? Last time you had it listed for sale you weren't.

I can sell it either way. I haven't taken the motor out yet, but I'm getting close to doing so. I can sell it as pictured. Minus motor, or whatever. I'm just trying to get my money back on the car. If your are "SERIOUSLY" interested in the car my phone number is up there to talk about it.

Okay so here is a complete run down on the car and what you will get.

Motor- 13B 4 port D-Port Bridge. Hardend stator gears, 3mm Carbon Apex Seals, Racing Beat flywheel and Clutch. Racing beat plug wires, Racing beat Street header, and long primary exhaust. Two 2 1/4 inch Dynomax Bullet mufflers then to a Y-pipe and 3inch MagnaFlow Stainless steel muffler. Dual MSD 6AL2 boxes with an electronic distributor. Dual ProForm 11 inch electric fans with a temp activated switch 180 on 170 off. Weber 51mm ida with a unknown intake manifold. The motor was recently rebuilt by R&R Rotary here in Upland and I'm having some trouble with it. It runs fine, but smokes a little at startup. Steve at R&R is going to fix it, just need to take the car back and get it done. Work isn't allowing the time to drop it off right now. The fuel system is brand new as well and cosists of a 12 Gallon Summit fuel cell with GM sending unit. The line is 3/8 aluminum and feeds a Holley red fuel pump and Billet Aluminum Fuel filter. There is a Holley fuel pressure regulator and guage on the end of all that. All the fittings are AN on this setup and was routed away from heat and obstructions

The battery has been relocated to the trunk and is secured with a steel battery box and strap. All the cables are brand new and were made specifially for this car.

The rearend is a 79 Celica Supra Disk brake piece that was modified to fit the RX-4 leaf springs. The front suspension is GSL-SE RX-7 with QA1 Coilovers and 350lb springs. The brake lines are stainless steel wrapped lines from C&G aircfraft supply and the front shocks are KYB's. The Guages are AUTOMETER Carbon Fiber 2 1/16 Oil Pressure, Water Temp and Fuel. All senders function and guages all work and are nicely installed in the factory guage cluster. The interior is as complete as I've seen any RX-4. The original seat patterns are in very good shape, but he outside vinyl needs to be replaced. The overhead console is complete and the glove box liner is still intact. The factory radio is missing as is something from the lower console, but I don't know what was there. I have all the badges for the car to include the RX-4 quarter panels and Mazda trunk trim badges.

The body is 95 percent rust free. There is a spot of cancer on the lower edge of the hood and two small spots around the window edge. Nothing at all difficult to repair. I only mention it because it's there. The car is very solid and still wears original paint.

So there it is. I can't afford to do it anymore and to be honest I'm pretty tired of messing with R&R over the motor. Come pick it up and drive it home. I will ask two prices for the car.

5200 as is. You take it as you see it in the pictures. OR 4700 without the wheels.

The car runs and drive with no trouble but just smokes on the start up. Thats it. probably reseal the motor and you're good, but I can't do it anymore. I've invested a crap load of money to get it to this point and it's just not paying off for me.

Sold!!!! Thanks for all the help and advice you guys provided. I wish I could have kept this car, but thanks to R&R rotary I have a bad taste in my mouth.

Just so you all know. DON"T TAKE ANYTHING TO THOSE GUYS!!! Last thing they told me is they don't warranty their work and then they hung up on me. GREAT BUSINESS TACTIC R&R!!! Ask around and you'll see I'm not the only one that was screwed over by them.

According to the MOM or SHOP OWNER? Ha Ha. They said they they didn't build my motor and they said they didn't say that it was fixed when it left that shop. So I guess I just gave away money for nothing to them.

But the story doesn't end there. I've done some asking around and I'm definetly not the first person they burned. If you ask around you'll hear the horror stories. I just wished I had gotten a few more opinions before I went to them. Sometimes the local shop isn't the best choice. I will never do business with them again, and would seriouly advise anyone else that wants work done to their car to steer clear of that place.

"Don't let a handshake a smile fool you, take my advice I'm only tryin to school ya."

Are sure the car still runs and the Dual Proform fans are still working perfectly?

Hello,

I am sorry to hear about your bad exp with R&R. I will certainly keep that in mind. I am also sorry to see that you sold your car. I am lso sorry to see that I missed these posts and it sold. I maybe would have bought it as a spare. If for some reason it STILL does not sell, send me a PM. I may be interested. Where are you and the car located.

Good luck. I noticed another Rotary in your garage. What else do you have, RX3? Hope your not selling them all.

Regards

Max
