E-shaft pulley question

Are the timing marks on the e-shaft pulleys the same through all the generations of 13B/12As (REW excluded)? and are there any difference in the mounting hubs. I know that some have an offset bolt so it can only be installed one way. I cant remember what hub/pulley combination i am running and i just want to make sure my marks are correct.

Thanks
Allen

That is great info wackyracer but i know where TDC is roughly. I just didn't know how to make sure that the pulley/hub/timing cover were all compatible. In other words if you installed a second gen pulley on a 12A hub with a GSL-SE front cover would 10 degrees indicated actually be 10 degrees?

Read it three times and no where did it mention part compatibility or interchangeability. What i am doing is installing an aftermarket pulley set that does not have any timing marks on it. I have to transfer the marks from my pulley to the new pulley but i don't know if my marks are correct. The reason i ask is i was told by the place that i bought my ECM from that the notch in the hub for the key way is in a different position for each generation and you have to use the pulley that goes with that hub that goes with that timing cover. That didn't sound right to me and i guess the fact that no one knows what i am talking about tells me that it is not true.

Thanks

The key must be a 9oclock but the only way to see it to actually remove the front engine bolt. So the easiest way to find the TDC is MY WAY.

I DO KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT but since you already made up your mind, then feel free to SEARCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

OK what the hell i feel like arguing today. I couldn't care less about TDC and you obviously don't know what i am talking about. Let me ask this question one last time in as simple a manner as i can. If you lined up the mark at ten degrees on a 1st gen and and pulled the hub and pulley assembly off and slid a second gen pulley hub on would the marks still line up at ten degrees. If i were running the stock flywheel i would use your method to verify the marks but i am running a aftermarket flywheel so that does me no good (and no i cant see the counterweight). Oh and trust me i have SEARCHHHHHHHHHHHHED but all i came up with is the correct way it find TDC. All i want is someone to tell me YES all the marks on all the pulley hub combinations are the same.

Thanks for your time wackyracer.

If your pulley can mount in 4 different positions, it is a 1st setup. If the pulley only mounts in 1 position, 2nd gen. You cannot mix and match the 2 gens. 2nd gen pulleys have a small circle stamped between the bolt holes for alignment.

The 12A and 13B 1st gen pulleys are the same, except for the position of the timing marks.
