e-brake on my Duece

well I finally got around to swaping my e-brake handles in my RX2, pretty simple right? two bolts a small screw and the cable. well i did all that and tightened every thing up, and now it doesn't hold very much. any body else have an exprerience like this. I am gonna jack up the car tomorrow hopefully. and see if some came undone while the cable was loose.. but if you got some thoughts let me know.
