A couple of cool Old School RX events coming! *Southern California*

Yo guys… the So-Cal RX Club “Ole Skewl Bash” is back. After a very successful first event last year, we’ve brought it back. Mark it down on your calendars, and we’ll see you all out at Ricky-&-Ronnies the end of the month (Saturday - July 29)!!

Full Details and Map
http://www.socalrxclub.com/calendar_details.aspx?id=75

PICS FROM 2005: http://tinyurl.com/ovpfa

after this, the Japanese Classic Car Show at the Queen Mary is back better than ever!

I’m helping out the organizers this year, and I would love to get a huge MAZDA RX OLD SCHOOL representation out. I’ll actually be a judge for the Mazda vehicles. So, bring out the best RE classics, and let’s blow all the other Japanese car marques away!! Last year’s show was cool, but we they were low on the old school rotaries! So spread the word to all the OLD SCHOOL RE heads to come out!

Full details and registration information below and at:

http://www.japaneseclassiccarshow.com

Registration is now open! So hurry-up and sign up because spots fill quick at this event.

Hope to see all you locals out at both events!

Cheers,

-Bern

Hey Berny, long time no see. I will be at the oldschool event again. Though I will not be representing the Godzilla Defense Force squad at the japanese classic car show becuase I will be at button willow for my B-Day teaching the FD new tricks.

See you in a few weeks.

With any luck I'll have the RX2 up and running by September (I know, it's really ambitious...) in which case I will definitely make the Queen Mary event. Dunno exactly how well I can represent classic rotaries 'cause mine will still need a paint job, but hey, if it makes it there from Sacramento under its own power that's pretty cool, right?

Talking Rotary banzai! JCCS 2006

Hello!! Thanks Bern!! Like introdueced on the top, all Rotary powered RX7s are invited to the upcoming JCCS on Sep.30!!

As Mazda is taking a leading roll in this year’s event and is also being supported by the SoCal RX Club and SevenStock Committee, JCCS would like to showcase all Rotorheads together at the beautiful Queen Mary.

:smiley_12 Bring your family and friends to enjoy the ocean view and the Japanese Classic Cars!

My self going to Ole Skewl on 29th with my7, pls talk to me if you have any question And CAN't WAIT for SS9!!!

Please see more info here at www.japaneseclassiccarshow.com
Spots are REALLY filled up fast!

Last year, the event featured many Japanese and American media sources. It is such a great opportunity to learn about, celebrate and show respect to the existence of "Japanese Classics" in the USA. For those who don't have many chances to see other rare Japanese historical vehicles, your satisfaction is guaranteed at this show.

Old School Rotary Fans, let's kick back & enjoy!

Why does most of the cool rotary "stuff" happen out west. Why can we east coast guys have a big rotary or old school meets? Hell, even if we did, I'm moving to Texas in a couple of months. Damn. Some people have all luck. Have fun guys.

It was a good turn out except, my chiquito broke-down due to bad alternator (ate the battery and a battery booster). Made it back home. Took the FB instead.
