Ceramic apex seal group buy

Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up... there is currently a group buy for NRS ceramic apex seals for $895.00

Plus Mazda OEM rotor seal kits (corner seals, side seals, '93 corner seal springs, etc.) for $550

The way I see it, these things (ceramic apex seals) last so long I'll probably hand them down to my kids. Not to mention they're easy on rotor housings.

Do these work with the JHB ceramic coated housings? It's also my understanding that they are more boost tolerante than the steel ones, yea/nay? Are they availible in 3mm for the 13Bs or only 2mm?

Hey Trochoid,
According to Sven, the guy from NRS who I've been in contact with... Marc from JHB prefers ceramic seals for use with cermet treated housings.

Excellent. I've been thinking about trying the cermet coating on my TII build for the widebody. Don't really want to put out the extra cash for it but I do plan on keeping this car until they put me in the ground. I'm hoping that by going with both the cermet and ceramic seals, it will give me a little room for error on tuning mistakes since this will be my first turbo project and standalone.

Thanks for the quick response. Since I haven't looked at the group buy section yet, how long is this buy open and would you provide a link please.

No prob Trochoid...
The group buy started three days ago so you can still get in. You can also get the rotor seal kit through the same group buy, just specify you're interested.
