i remember seeing that along time ago. thought it was a nice idea how he put the carb out in front of the engine. the project might not have been complete when i saw it. always wondered which would be a better setup, drawthru like that one or a blowthru.

Yeah, I saw that on the internet back in '99. My friend's got a 510 that he wants to upgrade.

Yes, it is an older build up. I am curious if he is on any of the forums, or if the car is still around?

I remember emailing that guy ages ago asking if he would ever sell the car. I believe he said he would but it would be like 30k or something.. it was just a tad out of my price range. Heh.

I remember a time before forums. People used mass email daemons and stuff. They also had websites. And before that, it was simply word of mouth. We've come a long way in a short time.
