Damn, I never noticed that the RE5 is just all ate up with radiator! That thing is huge. The Highway bars aren't even needed. There's even a coolant gauge front and center on the cluster. Cool.
Im sorry if it pisses someone off, but i really dont beleave it has the ORIGINAL ENGINE AND EVERTHING With One Single Mile on it... thats alittle farfectched...
andbesides, who the hell would store a bike for that long, just to sell it on ebay??? not to mention the seals on the inside must be fubar by now....
other than that, it does look cool though... i didnt say it wasnt a nice bike, but I think the Purchase to Storage is BS....

It would be slick if it really was a one-mile bike. Check to see if the tires still have their mold pins. There also seems to be a bit of grease and scratches on the left side.
I dunno man... It does look extraordinarily clean... And if you're familiar with the RE5, they were notorious for the chrome parts rusting when exposed to the weather for any length of time... All I see wrong with the bike is a little peeling paint on the black handlebar mount... Definately looks like it's been stored inside since new (judging by the condition of all the other RE5's I've seen)...
it happens with these motorcycle guys, I was watchin sumthin and this dude had a mid '70s kawasaki or horda dirt bike or like all around bike I guess he had bought, put it in his garage still in all the plastic and wooden crate they come in and decided to go a different way, and now shows this bike still in the crate, its not out of the question that someone with a little to much money said " hey I want one of those" and just put in his garage along side his other toys he thought other people thought where cool, then he dies and someone comes along at his estate sale and gets some brand new vintage goodies.

more likely it's 100001.7 miles. just rolled over.
