Boost Prep - 51mm IDA Weber?

So, I have done the following to prep my Racing Beat 51mm IDA Weber:

-Nylon (Black) float
-Thread tape and silicone on auxiliary venturi holding cap screws.
-Seal the Top Hat of Weber to carb body with gas safe high temp RTV/Silicone. Same at the base will be used when mounting it to the intake manifold.

From my searches, these three issues are all that’s needed. Is that true? Seems too easy…

Now when building the plenum to replace the Velocity Stacks, does there need to be a line or port that leads to the fuel bowl? How else would the fuel bowl receive the equalizing pressure it needs when seeing forced air?

Also, does the plenum need to seal over the Main jets, or have that open to also receive pressure? Or does it need to be blocked off all together?

Also, the 51IDA has much longer than normal (when compared to a 48IDA) auxiliary venturis. These will stick up into the plenum unless the plenum is raised up off the top hat surface, exposing the main fuel jet area. Which is why I am asking the above question. Would the shorter auxiliary venturis be used here, (not sure if that’s possible) or does it not matter they stick up into the plenum?
