B2200 Tranny...

Ok, Does anyone know if there is just an adapter plate or something for this? In my search to create a monster, I have found out that the tranny out of a MX-6/626 in the late 80's mates to the same 2.2L SOHC engine out of the B2200 trucks. So From what I have read is that normally people just either use a rx7 transmission, or they swap the bellhousings, neither of which I could use if I wanted to do a FWD 13B. If anyone could help me out I would appriciate it. And yes, I realize it is FWD, but I have a 13B sitting here and can get a MX-6 tranny for $25 so I could have some fun

Thanks

Only thing I can say is to pick up that 626/MX-6/Probe tranny and see if the RX-7 bellhousing bolts up. C'mon. What's $25?

You MAY have to trim the input shaft is all.

Did you try Kennedy Engineered Products? They make a bunch of bellhousing adapters (including a few for rotaries) and may have what you're looking for, or be able to tell you if it will work without one...
