I used an fd trans into my Miata when I did the rotary conversion. Not really happy with the current PPF setup / trans mount. Figured I'd ask others who have swapped an fd trans into something else to post up what / how your transmission mount was done. Trying to get ideas on how I should redo the mount.

 

I have a FD trans in my RX-3,made my own mount to a cross member,no ppf as it has a ford 9 inch rear end.

 

That's about what I'm looking to do. Trying to get a visual idea on how to run the bracket. Have any pics?

 

not at the moment,i'm redoing mine a bit better than my 1st one,i was in a hurry 1st time.

 

That's about what i did. Seen a single plate used that bolts to the lower two PPF mounts. But looking for something that uses all four.
