It's got an MSD which is in danger of eating someone's kneecap, and yet it's not even direct fire. Tisk, tisk.

I still wouldn't mind having an RX-4 though. I've seen lots of similarities to the CD23C Cosmo.

yeah, but I still like the '74 front nose and rear tail lights better.

two things i like about the RX-4. overhead console and woodgrain dash panel (like the REPU).

I've had both styles of RX4 coupes. I like the rear fascia of the '76 more than the busy Japanese rocket-boy look of the '74, (the taillight lenses are reminiscent of pagodas) but the '74 front end is way more stylish than the Toyota station wagon look of the '76.
