accelerator cable

my accelerator cable cut today on my rx2.... Can I simply grab a new one from kragen or other? Any suggestions for replacement one and where to get?

12A carb Rx7 cables will work....slight mod at the firewall and pedal.

Plus the firewall mount is different. 1st gen's are push-in type while old school are bolt-on

U know eh kuya! i was just looking at that set up and noticed it had the crack in outer rubber + cable cut at the firewall part....

If just the wire cable broke then you can go to a bike shop and get a brake cable and use some crimps down by the pedal with some solder. I did this and it works great and the cable was like 3bucks.

I "removed" the plastic mount to the firewall of the old stock cable, and bolted it in front of the Rx7 cable....fixed.
