92 Eunos Cosmo Front half car (45k KM) Parts are for Sale if interested.
I have a 92 Cosmo Front Clip that I purchased, it has everything from the header panel back to the middle of the front seat area (just past the auto shifter)
No body or frontal parts, only the stuff behind it
I am pulling the 20b and all of its related parts and putting it in my FD so if it's necessary for the 20b to run it won't be available until I switch it for an aftermarket upgrade. (Sorry, but it may be available in the future once I get my Haltech installed!
so the Auto Trans and its module, complete Dashboard, Steering wheel and Column, Brakes, Ctrl arms, Subrame, Reservoirs, EPA crap, Rubber covers and hoses are all clean and not apparently dryrotted, portions of the Front wiring Harness and Door harness are present, Hell, if you need the Front clip for your damaged Cosmo, it's straight and has only superficial surface rust from removed panels and doors. The Dash top is cut from the windshield glass, and the lower dash is just covered in sawdust, I will clean it up once I get it all apart, the Electronic Dash is FULLY FUNCTIONAL.
I will take Trades for FD parts for the 20b swap if you have them taking up space! The prices are negotiable as I don't have a list price to reference them off of.

Typically this is would be moved to the Marketplace. However, I'll make an exception to the rule in this case, so it can be more visible to any Cosmo owner seeking parts.
A few days ago, two different people cracked their windshields and are having quite a difficult time sourcing new ones.
More and more JC Cosmos are popping up everywhere, to the point that enough people asked me to translate its Wiring Diagrams and Workshop Manual from Japanese. For your project, it's going to be quite the undertaking to "blend" the two systems together and make them behave correctly. For example, Tach signal on the FD comes from the ECU while the JC's signal is generated by the Trailing Coil. 13B Cosmos have the same setup as a FC does, while 20B's are "built up" a bit, trading the Trailing Toggle for a 1-2-3 Sequencer system on both Leading and Trailing coils.
The only thing I am using is the doghouse and intake everything else is for sale alternator subframe, ignition, dash, half chassis, Ctrl arms, brakes and calipers, wiring Harness, radiator, Intercooler, transmission, etc. Everything pictured is available. Make me an offer and come get it. I am in Appomattox VA.
Is your Cosmo's cluster acting up? If that's the case, what exactly is it doing? The reason I ask is because other maladies such as sketchy grounds or an iffy TWS can manifest as odd behavior in the cluster and I would feel better knowing for certain that it is the cluster before spending. One thing to keep in mind is that the Eunos Cosmo was based on the FC RX-7, with some FD bits added in, and a few new ideas too. Those new ideas (PalmNet) are akin to what's found in a BMW E38 7-Series (Canbus). Think Super NES vs Sega Genesis, you get the idea.
This is why I translated the WD-2004 Wiring Diagram book from Japanese, so the average owner can isolate any issues by tracing the circuit(s) in question. And I'll have the WM-2009 Workshop Manual finished in a few weeks. Hit me up on here or FB if you want a hand pinning the issue down. Plus, another 30 year old cluster can almost be guaranteed to have the same issues going on too. There is a guy in Florida that specializes in fixing both clusters and TWS, he knows them inside and out.

My cluster is just starting to act up. Ironically it actually started to happen at DGRR last year, and I happened to be following Anthony haha. I just haven't had the time to dig into the Cosmo over the past year to get it out and sent off to him (I've been focusing on the FD and just enjoying the Cosmo as is). I was interested in having a spare to see if I could take out the center section (the spedo and rpm gauge) and put in a digital dash; while retaining the outer sections of the cluster (odometer/HVAC display and the gas gauge/temp gauge).

Sounds like an interesting project. I drew up a few concepts for a FC digital cluster years ago, taking inspiration from other vehicles of the same era (Z31, MA70, AE86, etc) so it would fit the period and style correctly. Might be a bit challenging with a Cosmo, but the AP1 S2000 might be a good starting point. Maybe add a numerical display for the tachometer too? Still, my big concern would be how to separate all of the PalmNet-related circuits from the items you wish to replace. Anthony knows a bit more about the cluster's internal workings than I do, so he would be the person to ask. But either way, a project like this starts out with a proper understanding of all of the signals coming into and going out of the cluster.
